Product Description
The MGXTSV / MGTSV mining flame-retardant optical cable is designed to meet the demanding requirements of underground mining environments.

250μm optical fibers are housed in high-modulus loose tubes filled with waterproof gel.

A central metal strength member provides enhanced tensile performance.

For smaller core counts, the strength member is coated with PE for added protection.

Loose tubes and filler ropes are stranded around the central core, creating a compact, round cable structure with interstitial water-blocking fillers.

The core is longitudinally wrapped with plastic-coated steel tape (PSP), followed by a PE inner sheath and a blue flame-retardant PVC outer jacket for superior fire resistance and durability.
This cable not only retains all the advantages of standard optical fiber cables but also delivers specialized safety and reliability required by the coal mining industry. Even in emergency situations, communication remains stable, helping to minimize losses. The product is certified by the Coal Mine Safety Supervision Authority and carries an official mining safety mark.
